William Metcalfe has been the PATH North
Dakota, Inc. Executive Director since PATH’s beginning in North Dakota in
1994. William Metcalfe has worked in public and private human service
agencies since 1972, serving in executive leadership positions in Minnesota,
North Dakota and Iowa. William Metcalfe holds a Master’s Degree in Social
Work from the University of Iowa, LICSW, Board Certified Diplomat in Social
Work and in a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American
Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. William Metcalfe has
completed the CWLA Leadership Program from the John F. Kennedy School of
Government, Harvard University.
Dale Twedt is
the Director of Operations for PATH North Dakota, Inc. He is a Minnesota
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist.
Karen Berg is the Regional Director of the
Northwest Region of PATH. The Northwest region serves Ward, Renville,
Burke, Pierce, Bottineau, McHenry, Mountrail, Williams, Divide and McKenzie
counties. Karen has been with PATH since it’s inception in
North Dakota
in January of 1994. She is a licensed certified social worker and has been
practicing social work since 1984.
Bill Kerzman
has been a social worker since 1984. He is experienced in all
areas of child welfare. He was a county child welfare worker, county child
welfare supervisor, and a Regional Supervisor for the state of
North Dakota prior to joining PATH in February 1994. Bill is the
North East Region Director with offices in
Grand Forks, Devils Lake,
and Belcourt North Dakota. Bill has served as the CWLA State Leader nine
times and is very active in policy and legislative advocacy for child
welfare.
Janice Tishmack has been a social worker for 28 years. She
started her career working in
County Social Services as a child welfare worker in 1978. In June of 1988, Janice
was hired to develop the Therapeutic Foster care program in the
Bismarck region. In April
of 1994, the Therapeutic Foster care program was assimilated with PATH and
in July of that same year, Janice became the agency’s Regional Director for
Southwest North Dakota. Janice currently supervises the Dickinson and
Bismarck PATH offices.
Nancy Horton is the Regional Director of
the Southeastern Region of PATH North Dakota, covering counties throughout
Region V & VI with offices in Jamestown and Fargo.
Nancy has a Bachelors Degree in SW and licensed in the state of
ND. She has been with PATH since February, 2001.
Nancy has over 15 years of
experience working in the child welfare system, including youth advocacy
services, special needs adoption, psychiatric day treatment and residential
treatment.
Bobbi Geiger, Director of Development for PATH North Dakota, Inc., has over
20 years of experience in child welfare and social services as a
practitioner and a manager. Bobbi began in the Therapeutic Foster Care
program in Fargo in 1992. In January of 1994, Therapeutic Foster Care in
Fargo was assimilated with PATH. Bobbi has been with the organization since
that time. She served as a case manager for 7 years before moving into
progressive managerial positions at PATH. She is a licensed social worker
and holds a Master of Education in counseling from North Dakota State
University. She also has a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Axelson Center for Nonprofit Management, Chicago, Illinois. Bobbi has been a
foster parent for 15 years. She was the 1998 CWLA Western Region Child
Welfare Worker and the recipient of the PATH Don Crompton Award of
Excellence in Social Work in 2001.
