Michael Peterson, Interim CEO, has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of America, and a Bachelors Degree from St. Olaf College.  He started in his current position in April 2006, but previously worked with PATH from 1983 to 1998.  Mike has over 30 years of experience in child welfare.  His experience includes work with both public agencies and private agencies.  Before returning to PATH he served as deputy administrator with the Idaho Department of Human Services.

Amelia Franck Meyer, MS, MSW, LISW, CAPSW has been working as a practitioner and a manager since 1989.  She is currently the Executive Director of PATH Wisconsin, Inc. where she has been since 2001.  Ms. Franck Meyer has experience working with children in treatment foster care, residential and group home care, and with adults and children in the areas of domestic violence, disability services, Deafness and DeafBlindness.  Her special interests include social work supervision, boundaries and ethics, social policy and advocacy, and research and program evaluation.

Ms. Franck Meyer has a Masters of Social Work/Human Service Management and a Masters of Sociology/Marriage and Family.   She has also earned a Graduate Certificate from the University of Minnesota in Disability Policy and Services, and she has served as an adjunct faculty member in the schools of social work, sociology and psychology at several locations including the University of Minnesota and Augsburg College.   Ms. Franck Meyer serves on the National Foster Family-Based Treatment Association Board of Directors and served a term as President in 2007.

George Hendrickson, Minnesota Executive Director, joined PATH in July of 1979. George has a BS from St. Olaf College, LSW from the University of Minnesota, and is near completion of MS degree in Sociology/Criminology. George previously worked as a therapist and unit supervisor in the Sheriff’s Work Program in Isanti, Minnesota. Since joining PATH he has also served as Metro Social Work supervisor. In 2000, George was awarded the Don Crompton Award of Excellence in Social Work for “outstanding commitment to advocacy for children in and outside PATH; and high regard as a role model for others in the social work profession.” George was instrumental in establishing PATH in the St. Cloud area. He and his wife have provided treatment foster care for the past 15 years.

Gerald Kegler, Director of Human Resources, has more than 10 years of experience in human resource field, primarily in training and organization development. He holds an M.Ed. in Organization Development and is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.|
 

Sara Larson, Director of Development, holds undergraduate degrees in Communication Studies and Political Science and a Master Degree in non-profit management. Sara has seven years of experience in development.

 

William Metcalfe has been the PATH North Dakota, Inc. Executive Director since PATH’s beginning in North Dakota in 1994. William Metcalfe has worked in public and private human service agencies since 1972, serving in executive leadership positions in Minnesota, North Dakota and Iowa. William Metcalfe holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa, LICSW, Board Certified Diplomat in Social Work and in a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. William Metcalfe has completed the CWLA Leadership Program from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
